I don't believe that cigarette vending machines were ever much of a
feature at stations, so this survivor at Burntisland in September 2009 is all the more remarkable. When it sold its last packet they were 20p (surely for 10, though it doesn't say) so it can't have been long after decimalisation in 1971. Nobody has troubled to remove it, and it is all of a piece with the 'period' decor.
