Whalley

The ornate arch at the street level entrance to Whalley, proudly displaying Lancashire's Red Rose, was created when the station reopened to passengers in 1994 after being closed for 32 years. Half way up the stairs is a white tiled subway under the line that allows access to the other platform. Behind the camera the low bridge joins directly on to the 48 arch Whalley viaduct See image 20585.
