Staveley (GC)
The Great Central's Annesley branch passed over the Midland Railway at Staveley. This view looks south from that bridge towards Staveley (GC) station. The line also crossed a west (MR) to south (GCR) connection between these two lines where the distant fence stands. At the time of the photograph, in 2006, the Midland route was still in place although no longer in use below this viewpoint.
