Staveley (GC)

Robinson J11 0-6-0 no 64433, one of the onomatopoeic pom-poms built in 1908 for the Great Central Railway (originally class 9J), seen here 'in store' on Staveley (GC) shed in the late 1950s. Official withdrawal came in February 1960 with the locomotive being cut up at its place of birth, Gorton Works, the following month.
