Hest Bank
A Morecambe to Leeds Pacer has just left the Bare Lane chord (note point blades in the foreground) and is heading for the next stop at Carnforth. 142050 is passing the signal box that overlooks the popular foreshore at Hest Bank. The box also controls the crossing at nearby Bolton-le-Sands. The crossover just ahead of the train is used to access the chord from the Up line but only nuclear flask trains currently operate in that direction.
