Scene in the yard at Horwich Works on 25 September 1960. Visiting locomotives include Fowler 4F 0-6-0 no 44482 of Barrow Hill, Crab 2-6-0 no 42761 of Saltley. Standing alongside is ex-LYR Class 23 no 11304, one of the departmental 0-6-0STs used within the works at that time.
