Gorgie East
Looking south (left image) and north from the bridge carrying Slateford Road over the 'Sub' in September 1995. The line was being relaid during an enforced and lengthy closure following a fire at Haymarket East Relay Room. The route south runs below the bridge carrying the Haymarket East Junction - Slateford Junction line see image 22455 with the Pentland Hills forming the backdrop. The view north shows the route curving to the right past the site of Gorgie East station towards Gorgie Junction.
