Looking north from Platform 2 at Preston at around 22.25 hrs on 18 July 2012 as Virgin Thunderbird 57307 'Lady Penelope' is started up in readiness to haul a Pendolino ecs to Longsight Depot in Manchester for overnight servicing. (I did briefly consider a caption about 'Her Ladyship' being awoken from her slumbers by 'Parker' - but then thought better of it...!)
