Site of the train/tram interchange station at Edinburgh Gateway viewed north west from the A8 on 30 August with Edinburgh bound road traffic coming off the Gogar roundabout on the left and rail traffic passing by on the right. After tunnelling under the road see image 40193 the tram route will emerge just beyond the cones to call at the station, following which it will turn west to pass below the new bridge in the left background. The bridge carries the road running north off the roundabout giving access to the tram depot (seen just beyond) and will also provide access to the station in due course. The control tower of Edinburgh Airport stands on the horizon.
