Regua, in the Douro Valley, had a mixed gauge depot with a fan of tracks around a turntable but no shed building. The last depot switcher was metre gauge 0-4-0T No. E1, built by Henschel in 1922, which would shunt locomotives of both gauges and make up narrow gauge freights. It was preserved on a plinth after withdrawal in the 1980s and can still be seen from the Regua station platforms. See image 43368 of this locomotive when still in service.
