Lindau
Lindau Hbf is a terminus on an island in the Bodensee (Lake Constance) so that through trains have to reverse direction here. With EC194 now on its way to Bregenz behind Austrian electric power, diesel-hydraulics 218 400 and 404, which brought the train in from München, have been released from the buffer stops and are now awaiting their return working to the Bavarian capital.
