156511 about to leave Mount Vernon for Whifflet on 8 January 2013. Electrification of the Glasgow Central - Whifflet route is underway with early line closures and replacement bus services recently introduced to allow the necessary engineering work to be carried out. Work is due to be completed in time for this summer's Commonwealth Games.
