Bargeddie Bridge
A Motherwell - Milngavie service approaches the site of the new Braehead viaduct on 6th March 2015. The temporary embankments and retaining wall of gabion baskets at the side of the railway line are nearing completion. Piling work for the replacement M8/Bredisholm Road overbridge is underway off picture to the right. Rail services should be unaffected by the works until the planned closure in July.
