Dalmuir Riverside
A Rutherglen - Balloch train leaving Dalmuir Riverside station on 23 June 1959. The locomotive is Polmadie shed's Fairburn 2-6-4T no 42057. The photograph is taken from the terminal platforms used for worker's trains. The wording on the building on the right is not a works name but instead 'For sale land and buildings' - shops and the smithy, part of the former Beardmore shipyard.
