Helmsley

Old coal drops in Helmsley goods yard, still serving their intended purpose some 50 years after closure of the line, with the yard and goods shed now occupied by a local coal and log merchant. This May 2016 view is north east with the signal box still standing to the south of the station building, the top of which is visible in the left background. Industrial units now occupy the trackbed and surrounding area south from the signal box through to Sawmill Lane.
