View north west from the Broomhouse Station site along the course of the line towards where it crossed the Rutherglen & Coatbridge branch. The solum has recently been cut through for a realignment of Daldowie Road. Associated excavations parallel to the line of the railway have also unearthed what appears to be the brickwork of the down platform see image 55936 running diagonally towards the bottom left corner of this photograph.
