Randolph Colliery
Looking along the access road from the A915 towards the site of the Dysart Colliery, Randolph Pit (known locally as The Randy) in 1990. The pit, opened by the Earl of Rosslyn's Collieries in 1850, was served by a branch from the ECML and closed in April 1968. Latterly the siding encircled the pit and crossed the access road at this point.
