Fleetwood [3rd]
Extract from a 1914 map showing the area around Fleetwood. The main Fleetwood station (and associated yards) is prominent. This closed in 1966 when the line was cut back to Wyre Dock. That station was renamed Fleetwood but closed in 1970. Across the Wyre the terminus of the Knott End Railway can also be seen. The only rails that survive in this area today are those of the Blackpool and Fleetwood tramway system. Added by Mark Bartlett.
