The Station Master (Stinsen) sets the signal on the platform at Hesselby to line clear . This heritage narrow gauge railway recreates some of the aspects of railway operation on the Swedish Baltic island. Gotland had several 891mm gauge (3 Swedish feet) lines which first opened at the end of the nineteenth century/early twentieth century. Those that remained in operation were taken over by SJ in the 1940s but all were subsequently closed by 1960.
