Garstang and Catterall
Troops on the island platform at Garstang & Catterall station See image 60897 around the time of the First World War. It has been suggested that they are 'off to the front' but there are a number of pictures around showing pre-war Territorial Army weekend camps at Knott End and these lads could be changing trains travelling to or from Knott End for one of these events.
