One week to go! 37402 powers northwards at Hest Bank with 2C47 Preston to Barrow on Thursday 10th May. There will be a Class 37 hauled service to Lancaster on Saturday 12th, to Preston on the Tuesday and Thursday following and then the last Lancaster service on 19th May 2018. After that the Northern loco hauled passenger services will be confined to the Carlisle to Barrow section of line.
