Wanton Walls Junction
The single track Lothian Lines route from Niddrie North met the NB freight lines from Niddrie West at Wanton Walls Junction. The meeting occurred at the bridge seen here on 15 July 2018. View is north, with the houses in the background standing on the south side of Newcraighall Road. To the left both lines crossed the road on substantial bridges while to the right the combined route continued south towards Monktonhall Junction and the ECML.
