Garstang and Catterall
86259 Les Ross on a Cumbrian Mountain Express excursion from Euston seen approaching Garstang & Catterall on 14th July 2018. This was the third consecutive loco hauled train to run northwards, following 88003 on a Tesco and 47826 on another excursion. Rather than being removed at Carnforth the electric loco took the train through to Carlisle because of the dry weather steam ban.
