Nitshill's venerable hump-backed footbridge has an almost alarmingly low parapet. It is the only access to the Up platform (here helpfully labelled). Despite this there are notices on it saying 'wet paint' so even though there was no fresh paint the immediate plan seems to be to titivate it, rather than replace it with a costly (and ugly) accessible version. 8th September 2018
