Bolton
With the WCML closed over Easter between Euxton Junction and Warrington (and north of Lancaster) Virgin West Coast and TPE rerouted some services via the newly electrified route via Bolton. 390042 runs slowly through platform 3 at Bolton with the 9M54 Lancaster to Birmingham New Street on 20 April 2019. This is believed to be the first Pendolino in passenger service to work over this route.
