Edinburgh Waverley
Some of the autumn sunshine being enjoyed in Edinburgh on 6 September 2007 manages to filter through the old and discoloured glass panels in the station roof to reach a Virgin CrossCountry service for Plymouth boarding at platform 14. It would be another 3 years before the much talked about project to replace all 24,000 panels got underway (see 36223).
