Milton Junction [Glasgow]

At Milton Junction, on 19th April 1965, Caley 4-2-2 123 moves ahead towards St Rollox after uncoupling from the Easter Monday Scottish Rambler railtour, which can be seen waiting in the background behind 'Gordon Highlander'. The locos had brought the train in tandem from Carstairs, but it would seem that double-headed arrivals were not welcome at Buchanan St, so the Caley Single was scheduled to leave the train at Milton Junction, with the GNSR 4-4-0 taking the train forward into Glasgow single-handed.
