Gordon
The former station at Gordon on the Berwickshire Railway, looking north east towards Greenlaw in March 2016. The station here closed to passengers in 1948, although the last operational section of the line, between Ravenswood Junction and Greenlaw, survived until 1965. The station has been much modified since closure, while the old goods yard in the background now hosts a private civil works operation. During the railway era the yard contained stone crushing and loading facilities serving a local quarry - see image 59939.
