Bowes Park
Track renewal work at Bowes Park on the GNRs Hertford North Loop, looking north on 19th April 2021. This line began life as a branch from the main line at Wood Green (now Alexandra Palace) to Enfield in 1871 with Bowes Park being added in 1880. It was not until 1910 that the line was extended to Cuffley and further extended back to the main line at Stevenage in 1918 to become the Hertford North Loop.
