Surviving goods crane at Skibbereen. Although the crane appears somewhat marooned, the loading bank originally extended to here and there were cattle pens on it beyond this point to the left (north). The goods shed is to the right and the engine house just visible beneath the crane arm with the modern fire station beyond. There was originally a Schull and Skibbereen Light Railway siding stretching up to and beyond this point immediately in front of the crane with the standard Irish gauge lines on the far side of the former loading bank.
