The surviving goods shed at Skibbereen, now a series of retail outlets. The standard Irish gauge lines were on the left of the shed while at one time there was a Schull and Skibbereen Light Railway siding that ran on the right of the shed but not immediately adjacent to it. The roof of a red painted modern extension to the station building itself is just visible in the distance above the two buses to the right of the goods shed. Skibbereen opened in 1877 and closed in 1961.
