I had seen various Railscot pictures of the two Burntisland stations but it took a visit to realise how close the old terminus is to the current through station (See image 77913). In this August 2021 view the terminus building is in the foreground, with platform buildings beyond, and behind and above those the Up Platform of the current station. The serious weathering of the corner pillar, compared to all the others, was very noticeable, but what a remarkable survivor this building is.
