158740 passing Dalmeny as it heads towards the Forth Bridge on 18th August 2021. This station opened on the same day as the bridge, 4th March 1890 and replaced the original station on the South Queensferry branch. Nothing remains of the old station but the trackbed is now a well-wooded footpath and was partly walked along by my friends and I earlier in the day.
