Ashton Hall [Private]
Ashton Hall was a private station on the Glasson branch, serving the estate of Lord Ashton, a very wealthy Lancaster businessman and philanthropist. It never appeared in a public timetable but the building survives in residential use alongside the Glasson Branch cycleway. Ashton Hall is now the home of Lancaster Golf Club. In this June 2022 view, looking south along the branch, the port warehouses at Glasson Dock can be seen across the curve of the Lune Estuary.
