Preston
A view over the west side of Preston station in February 2018. On the right on platform 1 is a Northern Class 156 DMU which has arrived from Ormskirk and is about to form a service to Blackpool South. In the middle is 158755 stabled on the Down Goods road. On the left is 86259 stabled on the parcel siding (south). The loco had hauled a CME from Euston to Carnforth and having handed over to steam for the run to Carlisle, returned south to Preston to await the charter arriving via the S&C.
