Ormskirk
Nearing the end of its working life, 507012 is at Ormskirk waiting to depart with the 18.19 to Liverpool Central on 24th September 2022. There is a sharp contrast between this photo and that of 507024 taken here around 40 years previously 82738. Just about everything shows changes, from the buildings, the platform, the lighting, the track layout, the trees and bushes and even a mobile phone mast is visible in the top left corner. You can cover the whole Merseyrail system with a Day Rover ticket. Cost today was only five pounds sixty but the 507s and 508s will not be around much longer.
