North Connel
The view north at the site of North Connel halt in 1990. The platform was on the right hand side of the line, roughly where the blue car is. (See image 27031.) The red transit van, right, is following the old course of the road which, going north, first swung out to the east of the railway alignment and then passed under it (see image 22726). The road has been replaced by a new alignment which follows the course of the closed railway.
