Lea Road Watertroughs
Day 7 of the GBXV Tour was supposed to be hauled by two Jubilees from Blackpool North to York. 45690 and 45699 both left Carnforth with the empty stock but the latter was declared a failure at Preston and 'Leander', seen here passing Lea Road, took the train single handed, but with rear end assistance from 47802 for the climbs ahead.
