Bransty signal box at Whitehaven is some distance from the station, and set back from the tracks, so the tokens for the single line to St. Bees are released from a machine in this cabinet on the station platform. This view looks towards the tunnel to Corkickle, alongside the station ticket office, on 19th April 2023. See image 62306.
