Arndean Cutting
Looking down on the missing bridge west of Arndean with the former DVR running from left (east) to right (west). The cutting walls for the roadway, realigned when the railway was built, can be seen. There is also a spoil heap (top centre) from ironstone mining activities dating from before the railway. There was a house here - Blairbane - which was swept away by the railway construction.
