1913 6-inch map extract of Southport showing the relative positions of Lord Street and Chapel Street stations. Lord Street, whose tracks ran towards the coast before taking a circuitous route southwards, closed in 1952. Chapel Street survives and in 2023 has two trains per hour to Wigan and Manchester and four per hour to Liverpool. Added by Mark Bartlett.
