Penistone
An unidentified pair of BR Gorton Works built Woodhead line Class EM1 Bo-Bo 1500V DC electric locos work west through Penistone Station with loaded Merry Go Round coal wagons heading for Fiddlers Ferry Power Station near Widnes on 4 December 1976. In the distance can be seen the approaching Wirral Railway Circle's 'Great Central' railtour hauled by a pair of Class 24 diesel loco's. See image 80388
