Hooton
Merseyrail Stadler EMU 777003 arrives at Hooton from Ellesmere Port to form the 17.19 departure to Liverpool Central, that I travelled on to Lime Street. This was the only 777 I rode on despite travelling on all the Wirral lines bar the Ellesmere branch that day, and was only because I alighted from the 16.55 ex Chester service to take the following Hooton departure and keep fingers crossed. Other 777s were in operation on services passing through Hooton as noted on the southbound working to Chester.
