West End - Princes Street [Tram]
Edinburghs Shandwick Place under the mid-day sun on 17 May 2013 looking back towards the west end of Princes Street. Work is underway on the installation of the crossover which will allow trams arriving from the west to terminate and tirn back here in the event of Princes Street being closed off (parades, demonstrations, festival activities etc). Passenger services would get underway a year later, by which time the proposed name of the tram stop had changed from Shandwick Place to West End.
