Colchester
A Clacton and Walton bound train (Class 309) pauses at platform one at Colchester on 17th February 1979. It bears the scars of one of the worst winters of the last century combined with prolonged industrial action across the country. That the train was running at all was reward enough, never mind that the rolling stock had not received external care and attention for some months.
