As at Inverness, a shunter is retained at Penzance to, among other things, shunt the sleeper stock. 08645 is the incumbent in 2024 and has been named 'St Piran' after the patron saint of Cornwall, and painted with the Cornish flag of a white cross on a black background. Photo by Mark Edwards
