Glasson Dock
The dock gate at Glasson is still out of action and vessels can only use the outer quay. On 6th May 2024, 'CEG Universe' was just arriving on the high tide, having sailed overnight from Workington to collect a cargo. The fence in the foreground is the old LNWR boundary fence of the railway, still in place for much of the length of the trackbed greenway, sixty years after the last train passed.
