Friezland
Between Micklehurst and Uppermill the old Micklehurst loop line is a public bridleway known as the Tame Valley Way. Friezland was an intermediate station in the village of Greenfield and a short distance from there on the way to Uppermill this bridge still carries a public fotpath over the old cutting. This view looks up the gradient towards Uppermill and Diggle.
