Leven
158719 with 158725, waiting to depart from the new Leven station at 11.53 with a First Day reopening service to Edinburgh Waverley, on Sunday, 2nd June 2024. Despite being picturesquely sited alongside the river Leven, the station has one long island platform with no proper buildings, just a couple of bus stop style waiting shelters and, worse, no public conveniences. It is also unstaffed but on Day 1 Scotrail staff were at the entrance to sell first day tickets to the crowds. The following day, however, passengers had to fend for themselves at the ticket machines.
