North Eastern Railway clerestory composite No. 818, built in 1902 at York, withdrawn in 1949 and sold for industrial use. Returned to service in May 2024 on the Stainmore Railway, Kirkby Stephen East. How many man hours have been spent restoring this carriage from near dereliction to as new condition?
